About Us:

The founding Partner

Percy Gumede is the founder and Managing ​Director of QJ Data Solutions, specialising in data ​analytics, visualisation, business insights, data ​governance, and skills training. With extensive ​experience in professional services and industry. ​Percy’s mission is to support organisations with ​optimising their leveraging of data in driving and ​effecting strategic and tactical decisions. He has ​held prominent roles, including Senior Manager at ​Ernst & Young in Dublin and Executive Head of ​Business Insights at Barloworld Automotive & ​Logistics in Pretoria.

At Sasfin Bank, Percy established the Data ​Governance Office and implemented the data ​strategy. At Deloitte, he led significant data ​analytics projects.


Percy holds a GEDP and MBA from the University ​of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business ​Science (GIBS), and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and ​Applied Mathematics from the University of ​KwaZulu-Natal.


Under his leadership, QJ Data Solutions delivers ​cutting-edge data solutions, empowering ​businesses to maximise their data potential.
